Balance and Core– Learn new ways to improve your balance, strengthen your core and lengthen your muscles. All fitness levels welcome as modifications can be made to each exercise.
Boot Camp– Drop and give me 10! Increase your stamina and muscle strength with this high energy workout. This class will consist of high intensity intervals and powerful moves that will get your heart pumping and work all your muscles. All fitness levels welcome as modifications can be made to each exercise.
Body Toning– Focus on improving your strength and flexibility. A low-impact body toning class that incorporates balance, stretching, and working every muscle group while providing the motivation and skills to work these exercises into your everyday routine. All fitness levels welcome as modifications can be made to each exercise.
Yoga– Focus on the breath in combination with various poses to help strengthen your body and your mind. Whether you are an experienced yogi or new to the mat, this class is perfect for all looking to improve their strength and decrease their stress. All fitness levels welcome as modifications can be made to accommodate all.
Maggie Thomson will be teaching balance and core, boot camp and body toning. Maggie is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologists®. She has been an adjunct professor with the I-MOVE program at Syracuse University for five years. She teaches a variety of health and wellness and fitness classes to a broad range of participants. Maggie is passionate about wellness and views exercise as a way to manage your health and feel good about yourself!
Linda Rudnick-Smith will be teaching yoga. Linda has been a yoga instructor for over 20 years. She has experience teaching a variety of methods such as hatha yoga, yoga fit, heated yoga and chair yoga. Linda’s goal of the yoga class is to combine mindful exercise and use of breath to develop a flexible and strong body, to calm the mind and enhance quality of life.
