Use this conversion chart to determine the number of steps for specific activities

Multiply the number of minutes you participated in the activity by the number indicated in the chart to get your total number of steps.

Example: You went hiking for 45 minutes. Hiking is approximately 185 steps per minute. So, 45 x 185 = 8,325 total steps.
