Health and Safety Guidance

You may have feelings of stress and anxiety about returning to campus, it will take all of us to keep our community healthy and to operate effectively under rapidly shifting definitions of “the new normal.” The University has implemented new policies and protocols to help reduce that anxiety and ensure the health and safety of our campus community.

Building Resilience

Resiliency is the ability to spring back from and successfully adapt to adversity. As we return to campus and find our “new” normal, creating and building resiliency is going to be such an important component. Choose the practices that appeal most to you and create a resiliency action plan!

Webinar: Control Your Thoughts, Control Your Stress

Learn to examine events in your life and to challenge the stress associated with them. This presentation will assist participants in identifying the most common forms of distorted thinking that lead to feelings of irritation, frustration, and fear. Participants will acquire skills to challenge these thoughts and to replace them with more realistic self-talk.

Refresh. Move. Nourish

These three words — refresh, move, nourish — are the guiding principles to help you take care of your body, mind and spirit. Taking time to unwind, staying physically active, and eating healthfully are all key factors in managing stress and anxiety.

  • COVID-19 Resources: The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated worries related to both everyday matters and larger health concerns. Carebridge is providing resources via live webinars, virtual support groups and recorded webinars to support employees and leaders in reducing the risk for illness, tending to the needs of loved ones while remaining focused and productive with work responsibilities.

Sanvello Mindfulness App (Free)

Through a partnership with Sanvello (formerly Pacifica), faculty and staff have free premium access to the No. 1 mobile app for stress, anxiety and depression management. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the premium version is available to anyone at no cost.
